Hokusai from the British Museum
―together with masterpieces of painting from collections in Japan

Une nouvelle exposition est consacrée à l’un des maîtres les plus remarquables de l’ukiyo-é et, peut-être, le plus apprécié au monde, Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849).
La prochaine exposition du Suntory Museum of Art niché dans le complexe du Tokyo Midtown (Roppongi) présentera au public une superbe sélection de chefs-d’œuvre d’Hokusai prêtés principalement par le British Museum et d’autres prêtés par des organismes Japonais.
À travers ces peintures et estampes ukiyo-é d’Hokusai, elle mettra en lumière la carrière du maître, en particulier ses débuts et les 30 dernières années de sa vie.
